Talking New Pup!

My new pup. He's 14 weeks , 26 lbs and growing. AKC registered as Stanco Guiseppe Toro. We call him "Seppe" Brought him home 1-5 and started obedience traing him at SCKC 1-9. Crate trained in 2 days, Bell trained in 3 days. He's doing well ( except for his fetish with my dirty socks.. I dont know why).

Its not how fast you get there,But the condition you arrive.

Good looking pup!

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

His trainer told me about bell training. Mount a bell at the dogs head level( I used a small collar bell used for hunting dogs) near the door the dog leaves to go outside. Every time you take the dog outside to use the john ring the bell. After a few rings the dog associates the sound of the bell to his need to relieve himself

Its not how fast you get there,But the condition you arrive.

Carefull training him like that. Or at least dont tell people about it. My buddy used to have a dog that he trained by accident to pee when youd point a certain way twords the ground, basicly casue he would point when he was training the dog. well puppy picked up on it, and needless to say us assholes would come over and right away point and make the dog pee on the rug It was great when we were drunk

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!
