I'm halfway into my classes for this semester bro. I've got 5 weeks left after tonight and then I'm going to squeeze another 2 classes in for 10 weeks after that. When thats done it leaves me with one class which I should finish up in June or august.

I can't wait to finish. Hope all your classes are going well.

Dude.... if you started an MBA program, focussed in Financial Analysis, and took your concentration classes first that would be a TREMENDOUS help in passing a series 7.

You will struggle with the 7 without a broad financial background....like Crazy said, MBA classes would help you out tremendously.

If you have a finance background, the 7 is a refresher and requires minimal studying.

We started last week as well. But I can't complain-- this is my third degree....I wanted to go back, so I'd better enjoy it and not complain.

Rode to class today, though-- 6 people with sportbikes (at least 6 that rode today) and THREE of them are girls. That was kind of cool.

I've been working in the financial industry for 4 years now, and have a bachelors degree in finance. I agree that MBA classes probably would help but I don't think my company would cover the cost and I think I should be ok with the books and the crash course that I'll be taking.

Good luck with the 7. It's a bitch, but a short term bitch. It's a whole lot easier than wading through the MBA.
BTW, I need to have one of my annuity sales reps get her 7. We are getting 5 proprietary VA contracts that I need her to push. Where are you going for your cram course?

Oh, sometimes it's good to be older. All I need to worry about are CE credits.

Make sure the program is accredited or your degree will be worthless.

Not exactly the buisness student here, I started again 2 weeks ago going for automotive technology. The perk of the program I'm going to is their manufacturer specific grad programs through such auto makers as Volkswagon, Audi, Jaguar, Porsche, BMW, International Truck, and Mercedes, which is my personal choice since I'm going through the auto-diesel and industrial program. Through these programs your guaranteed a position with the manufacturer you choose, in fact you sign a contract for up to 2 yrs. Shit, to work for Mercedes I'd sign a lifelong contract

The pessimist fears this to be true.
