well with the experience they are looking for it's amazing they are offering that much. Then again, maybe I've been stuck in a rut as a trader at my firm for the last 4 years and haven't spent enough time exploring my options.

In a way yes. See they are paying for my MBA which I will have in less than six months After that I owe them a year. So unless I find someplace to give me a signing bonus to pay my school back I'm kinda stuck.

A year and a half is nothing....(you can do that standing on your head I bet ). Where are you getting your mba (kellogg hopefully) once you get that your'e in the driver seat. Good luck!

Look, I can appreciate this. I was young too, I felt just like you. Hated authority, hated all my bosses, thought they were full of shit. Look, it's like they say, if you're not a rebel by the age of 20, you got no heart, but if you haven't turned establishment by 30, you've got no brains. Because there are no story-book romances, no fairy-tale endings. So before you run out and change the world, ask yourself, "What do you really want?"

You actually did it the right way. Always have your job pay for school.

My job only requires me to be working for them while I'm in school...full tuition reimbursement and no contract to sign at the end. So I can pretty much walk after I graduate !

I'm actually going to St. Xavier University. It's just starting to seem to me that an MBA is not as useful as I thought. Hell, if I could of made over $100k two years ago I wouldn't have even went for an MBA. In the mean time I'm bustn' my ass draining time into school.

Tell that to my freind's brother who got his MBA at Wharton (he's doing alot better (as a mutual fund mgr) than the job you posted and he's only 35)
