I don't think we'll get that much. Maybe 4 inches.

I have no problem with the snow (too cold to ride anyway).

My problem is dealing w/ all the pukes on the roads when I'm trying to go home! If I get to work late, who cares.

The people that tick me off the most are the SUV drivers. These are the days they've been waiting for - "look at me! I have 4WD!"

Yeah yeah - good for you. Too bad the whole rest of the year you have to haul all that hardware around and get like 12 mpg...suckers.

Who have I seen stuck in the ditch more often? SUV drivers. Just because you can get through this stuff doesn't mean you can stop easily!

to a certain extent I must concur though. The biggest idiot drivers I see in this weather tend to be those in SUVs. I just hope the snow misses us.

Oh nono Chris, We just drive the normal in this weather cause we can. When the light turns green we just go and the cars just spin the tires so only 3 or 4 people can get through the light. Thats what pisses people off. We (SUV) people just get up and go.

Most SUV's get real good gas mileage now a days and as far as lugging it around all year thats why i have a bike as well!

but they dont stop any better than cars! everyone needs to be cautious in this weather, not just the cars.

Oh i agree with ya on that! But if we hit a curb well we just go on the sidewalk and back on to the street.

Seriously though you are right but when i had my civic it would piss me off that only 2-4 cars could get through a light because of cars like mine (at the time)!

My frustations with SUV in snow stem from their drivers driving slow and overly cautious, I mean come on! you got 4-wheel! That and in dry weather when they park it before a small bump in the road, COME-ON! You got big suspension! I do however see people driving waaaaaay to fast in SUVs on the highway, I wouldn't do 90 in something that tall, maybe in an X5 bimmy but that's about it.

Most of the heavier SUVs also have ABS....stopping is not a problem.

Gas mileage does suck...my computer says Im averaging 11.5 in the city and I drive pretty aggressively.

On the highway though....doing 65 I get 18mpg. If I kick it down to 55 I can get 20mpg.

It is fun pulling up to some ricer (non AWD) or muscle car at a light and revving the engine just to piss them off.

My Explorer doesn't stop for shit even with ABS in the snow. 4wd is great from dead stops in the snow, though. That part I don't miss with RWD.

As far as the snow, it might as well, there's already enough on the ground more wouldn't make much difference.

My point was that it seemed as though ALL SUV drivers were categorized into that statement.

Hopefully ALL riders of sportbikes arent categorized together in the same way.
