Popup Ads

I am getting real tired of all these popup ads on my computer. It's amazing how many 18 year olds want to show me their goods.

Does anyone know of any good sites for free downloads to get rid of these things?

QUIT going to the damn porn sites

The only thing I've heard about the pop up programs is that when you go to a site that opens another window for you to view something it stops them.

Also if you have spyware on your puter that will cause you to get pop ups...Kazaa??

I think if you do a search someone has posted a porgram before for this.

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

Adaware - Spybot. Install in that order... do a google search for the latest download. You will be popup free.

Also. If you are using high speed interent, get a software or hardware firewall. Software at least.
ZoneAlarm I recomend because is free and easy to use.

Good luck

google has a popoup blocker, you can download from their site. It works great.

The cool thing about the pop ups are that it knows what you're looking at... Say you do a search on google for knives... All of the pop ups will be about knives. It's actually kind of neat. I don't like them, and the interfere with bandwidth, but it's kind of like personalized advertisement. Come to think about it. What do you guys think of this. I was reading an article a while back, and they are going to start putting in transmitters in newer cars. These transmitters take what you're listening to in your car, and it sends a sample of all the vehicles in a particular area at that particular time, and actually changes the billboards to advertize especially for you. So, if the majority of people on 290 at Harlem at 2:00 in the afternoon are listening to alternative music, whether on CD or on the radio, it could switch one of the billboards to advertize Q101. Or Mancow... Sports radio, it might change to Arlington International Racecource. Pretty snazy hu??
