Is he staying small block or getting nutty and trying to cram a big block in there?

Crate motor ? What size ? Mine is a summer daily driver for the most part (when it rains, I ride my DRZ).
In the past I had a built up Olds but just kept breaking stuff so this time around I went for drivability. I would be confident taking it across the country.

Bug, Love the Impala, especially the 65. great color

It has a built 350 now and staying that way but with mild cam and far less compression to run pump gas.

I'll attach picture when I get home.

To top it off he got it for a steal, not long ago and it was husbands (pasted away) car and wife sold it not knowing much about it..

Sweet ride, and you can crank up the NWA cds in it as well

my personal favorite is the 72 lemans (an oddball pick).

My grandfather had one and kept it in perfect condition until he passed away when I was 15.

My grandmother gave it to my uncle who completely destroyed it driving it on gravel roads and beaches, and never changed the oil.

I still give him crap about that car every time at family functions.

Look, I can appreciate this. I was young too, I felt just like you. Hated authority, hated all my bosses, thought they were full of shit. Look, it's like they say, if you're not a rebel by the age of 20, you got no heart, but if you haven't turned establishment by 30, you've got no brains. Because there are no story-book romances, no fairy-tale endings. So before you run out and change the world, ask yourself, "What do you really want?"

True True Obie Wan Kapatrick but Snoop Dog and Dr Dre along with Ice Cube all sing about their "Six Fo's" which is why I eluded to the above as the "NWA Whip"
