i couldnt believe all the choppers at the motorcycle show, i love there work, there cool to look at, but i hate trendy. I am happy for the builders though finally getting some money and attention to some awsome craftsmanship.

I appreciate the work and the craftsmanship, what annoys me is every non-rider thinks all motorcycles are choppers and Harleys and all riders are going to look like and behave like Paul Sr. on Orange County Choppers I'm seriously thinking that Harley and those shows are seriously hurting motorcycling in general.

If the McCormick show was like the last one, the swap meet was bigger then the show. Mostly HD stuff but there was other stuff there as well. leather vendors etc. it gets really crowded by noon.

On the TV shows hurting motorcycling I guess everyone has their opinion.
I like that there are motorcycle TV shows out now. And I hope they have more. (A guy has to do something during the off season)
As far as OCC or WCC, I FF through the Paul Senior drama parts and would bet that a lot of that is Discovery Channel generated drama anyway.
I like the metal-work, paint and craftsmanship that they do. even though I probably would never own one of them...

I'd rather watch the motorcycle shows then 4 gay guys remodeling apartments anyday.

The McCormick place event is billed as the "world's largest motorcycle swap meet". I sold my '83 FXRS down there for $6500 in 1993 (That's about what the bike cost when new... LOL).

It used to be held in the old Donnelly Hall facility. I remember standing outside in the line that wrapped around the building and down the street, freezing my a** off waiting to get in.

My guess is, they're promoting the "bike show" to draw more of the casual fans.
