Bourbonnais mom (sisterinlaw) killed

I never thought it could happen to us.

It's one of the county's most notorious "killer corners." And despite recent safety improvements, the crossing at Illinois 113 and Warner Bridge

It was just another day like any other. Amanda was taking the kids to the sitters. she was 23

How do we ever prep ourselves for something like this?

Friday night the 13th we had Nates 1st birthday party. He will be fine.

Madison who is 2, was the cutist little girl I have ever seen, she now has no brain activity and is on a machine to survive. They are taking more tests but dont give any hope. It sounds like she will pass tonight.

Marty my brother is having a real tough time. I dont know how to help him, I know we cant feel his pain, but if its 10 times worse than mine he is the strongest person ive ever known.

I dont know what else to say, I cant deal with it either. It sure makes you think of the things we take for granted every day.

A semi that missed a stop sign took their lives from us.

Mike
