Nursery themes

I know a lot of you have kids. Did you guys do a theme for the nursery?

My wife kicking the idea of planes. She is terrified of flying which is the ironic part. Lol

She thinks it's too early to do a motorcycle room I tried already. Lol

When our daughter was a little older (5-6), we did an ocean /sky setting.

Imagine a ocean blue chair rail height color with sky blue above, on the walls. To break up the walls we sponge painted clouds, and shadow outlined the lower edges of them.

It gets compliments from most of the people who see it.

I'm so glad we waited to do though. It gave us some time to create something that reflected her character. At sixteen she still does want us to change her room.

Not really a nursery, but we "finished" my son's room when he was 3. It's a sports theme with an emphasis on baseball. The room was pretty bland before we started.

We finished my daughter's room when she was 4, it doesnt have a particular theme other than just being girly.

before, lame
