Who's been riding off late?

I am considering bringing my bike out to stretch her legs this Sunday (02/16)... weather looks like it's going to be good enough.... thoughts? has anyone else been riding through this winter?

nope, and not even considering it. My bike is warm, clean, dry, salt free, and happy. It will stay that way for another few months

Not Sunday for all the reasons mentioned above, plus its still gonna be in the upper 20s. Late next week, though most definitely if only for commuting. Supposed to get plenty of rain between now and then so the road nastiness should pretty much be gone. Temps will be touching 50 by then.

We will be ice racing at Cedar Lake Sunday. Come check us out. AMA sanctioned event. 1/3 mile oval and a 3 mile road course. There should be lots of bikes / racers out there. There's a bar with food / drinks and you can bring your own booze if you want. You can watch from inside or outside.

Seriously... this winter is getting ridiculous.

I'm starting a campaign to build a wall at the border..... with Canada, I'm tired of them sending the cold air in our direction.

I shoveled the snow away from my garage door and opened it so I wouldn't get gassed. I then started my road sofa and let it run until it was all warmed up. I then shut it off an closed the door. Does that count as a ride?

Not unless you dropped it in gear and let out the clutch a little.

it's not the fall that kills you, it's that sudden stop

Did that in my living room a couple months ago after I finished the valve adjustment. Ran a dryer vent hose from the exhaust out the front door so I wouldnt get gassed.
