WSBK 2014 - Digging it After 3 Rounds

First off, love the proper coverage it gets on beIN Sports and it really is not spring until I her Jonathan Green belt out "A Warm Welcome from________"

Huge Tommy Sykes fan so I am excited to this season's beginning - Dig seeing Baz up there too - Hate that Marco got Laverty's ride and they kept Ginners - How great is it to see a MV back on track, and doing well? - Same with Bimota - Just wish Honda had a better package as I love when Rae is battling for P1 - Duc is back on track (a bit) but the Fact Green seems to be back in true form

I am not subscribed to that channel on my U-verse package and I refuse to pay any more than what I am paying so basically I will not watch the series anymore. I will just keep up with internet updates. Sad but I am sick of paying out the nose for coverage to watch tv.

I hear ya man - I really only accept paying for this shit for Live Coverage (SX, MX, GP)- beIN does it right with WSBK though as they show Super Pole and sometimes 4 hour blocks of straight coverage - Their in between race shit is the best and off all the commentators in sport, i enjoy Jonathan Green and Steve Martin the best - Green is a nut and Martin keeps him in check

Also, beIn shows MX GP so it is great watching the boys run dirt across the pond - Caroli is insane as is Herlings

When the weather breaks Bro, roll up, shoot some Pool and drink some Bloody's and we'll watch the races here in the Saloon of a basement I now have

Bold Statement - MM is too inconsistent and Ginners always seems to choke - Hence why I loved Laverty and his fire - Ginners is like the Dungey of WSBK - I see more coming from Davies on the Duc if he gets it sorted quick enough

Still, Sykes and Baz look dialed in

Does Ducati win anymore?

Serious question, I don't follow Motorcycle racing because Comcast doesn't give me Speed Channel which is frustrating unless I play for the best package they sell. They can go scratch I pay enough as it is. Speed Channel was awesome when I lived at my parents house though.

Win? - Not since Carlos C took the title a few seasons back - The Panagalie needed work and is just now where it should have been when Carlos first raced it

It is starting to show improvements for sure

It was picked up and rolled into "Fox Sports One" which carries Moto GP - beIN Sports carries WSBK

If you like Dirt Bikes, Fox Sports Two picked up "Fuel TV" and will carry the MX Nationals and beIN Sports carries MX GP for the dirties across the lake

Fox Sports One also carries SX but next week is the last race of the season

I have Comcast basic with some HD channels. I watch Velocity and BBC for top gear.

You wouldn't happen to know what channels numbers they are and if they are considered "PREMIUM" channels?

Thanks.

On Comcast, if I remember correctly, FS1 is 237 and beIN is 400 and yes, they are both "upgrades"

It's been a good season so far. I love watching WSBK compared to MotoGP. It's tight racing and every race is different compared to the Honda Show. I'm still pissed as well about Laverty. I love Aprilia but they should have never signed Marco and kept Eugene. Guinters is a cool guy though just lacks the fire inside.

Watching the BSB races from Oulton Park now. What a slap in the nuts the coverage of that series is for fans of the AMA.

...Witham continues to be fantastic.

I have Bein (Comcast channel 400) but I can't find SBK to record for the life of me. It's not even listed on Bein's website. What's the deal?

@Cerk are you watching BSB on Comcast?

It was a bitch for me when I had Comcast too as it is listed under "Motorcycle Racing" and you cannot record it as a series - I had to pull up the WSBK schedule and set reminders on my phone for a day or so prior to so i could set the DVR - never been happier to be off Comcast and on Uverse

Yeah I have to do that with MotoGP but WSBK doesn't show up when searching for "motorcycle racing". And looking at Bein's website, SBK isn't listed either (see May 11).

http://www.beinsports.tv/tv-schedule

This shouldn't be that f'ing difficult.

I have Comcast automatically set to record any new "Motorcycle Racing" through search. It records most WSBK races without any extra interaction. It use to record the entire thing, but for some reason this season beIn Sports/Comcast isn't showing the races as 1 large block anymore. Usually it has race 2 listed as new but not race 1 so I need to manually record the first hour.

beIN also shows FIM Grand Prix Motorross for those of us who like that riding too - It actually provides some damn good coverage of both - The WSBK races are pretty much commercial free
