Looks similar to 'Why We Ride'. I'd watch it.

Why We Ride was pretty good, although it didn't hit the spot for me like On Any Sunday did. Definitely will be watching this one, and I'm psyched they finally have speedway in it - soft spot for me, as that's how I got introduced into the world of bikes as a kid in Europe.

Goes to show you that CLSB still has a purpose and value. This is the first I've heard of this (Thanks for posting Brilama). One of my colleagues is in the film industry and I'm going to find out what it takes to get an advance screening in the Chicago area.
If I can pull that off CLSB will be among the first to know.

In other motorcycle movie news, "The John Penton Story" is set to be shown in at least 2 theaters in the Chicago area next month. One down in Homewood and the other in Elk Grove Village. It's being screened like "Why We Ride" was...They need to sell X number of tickets before the showing is set. I have reserved tickets for the Elk Grove showing on June 25. Plenty of seats left. You can get more info at: http://gathr.us/screening/8058

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

Where on that page do you see that? All I see is:

"AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER IN SEPTEMBER"

nothing about advanced copies, nor actual availability.

When On Any Sunday premiered in 1971, it wasn't just any movie. Directed by Bruce Brown -- who also helmed surfing classic The Endless Summer

On Any Sunday The Next Chapter produced and directed by Dana Brown (Bruce's son) opens one week from today (Nov. 7) in several theaters around the area. You can already buy tickets from Fandango. It will be shown at the Rosemont Muvico starting Friday morning!
