Star was born yesterday.

Yesterday at 12:33 in the afternoon Giovanni was born. I'm at the hospital till Wednesday morning and momma baby and papa get to leave. Everyone is healthy and doing well. Momma is a bit sore.

I'll post up some pics when I get a chance. It's amazing to be a papa. I'm so silly. The nurses love my humor. I keep my wife happy. When Giovanni crys I grab him like a loaf of bread and walk. He quites down right away.

He has very large hands and feet. His grip is like his nonnos (grandpa) it's fun to call my dad nonno now.

This kid is very receptive to touch and he looks at everything. I'm so blessed to have this little man in my life. I love him very much. He already got pasted around the family. Lots of flower and love enter our room. It's great.

Give me some time and I'll pop in and out of the forum. I still get personal time. Later.

Fun factoid. Saint Pope John Paul was born same day.

This morning Giovanni decided to sing me happy birthday. I think all the other babies heard him too. I told My wife all I want for my birthday is a Healthy son.

Looks like I'm going home with one today.

I will do my best to get some pics up.

Very excited. Can't wait to be in my own house.

Taking the ducati out for an hour or so to get some icecream. Little treat for myself for being mr mom.

I'm just curious how Our dog is going to act.

So instead of resurrecting the nursery thread I'll post up pics in this area too. Thread might get photo heavy.

Back home and loving it. He has these little pimples on his face but the nurse said they will go away. He also has bruising on his head from the pelvic bone. That will all go away too. His bruising and swelling have gone down very rapidly. It's incredible how fast babies heal. His head doesn't look like a gorilla head as much either. Next month I'm sure he will take shape even more so.

I will be adding pics so keep refreshing for the next say 30 minutes...

I have more pics but this should be sufficient LOL

Papa's lil aviator is home!

Welcome home Giovanni.

BTW in every single one of those pics my wife and I are completely exhausted. Now I have espresso so I'm okay! It's going to get worse before it gets better. I never had so much respect for my parents as I have today. Lots of responsibility and hard work... It will be worth it in the end.

Lol. I do the same thing it's becoming a zombie like movement. Wow.

Wife and I are taking shifts sleeping it's helping out a lot. It's not hard work but it's work. He is eating and crapping at a very accelerated rate. I told my wife as Long as he's not throwing up keep feeding him. He probably needs it.

He will probably be a big kid.
