DGY done?

DGY is now closed, sign on the door leaves open the possibility of re-opening, but last night I looked in and most of the new bikes are gone

that's a shame, the parts guys treated me well the last 2 years,, was never able to make a deal with sales, but it was nice to have a local place to grab something on Friday , at least they stocked chain& sprockets/tires/brake pads etc.....

I drove past their last weekend on our way back from MCC. Place looked in shambles. Too bad. I only stopped in there one or two times. Sad to see another place go down. It's definitely a tough market for luxury items.

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

Bank is in control. They'll probably open up for a liquidation at some point.

Industry guys are saying another round of dealership closings are on the way. It will be interesting to see who survives the winter.

When you say more closings do you mean Chicago area or national?

it's not the fall that kills you, it's that sudden stop

To be honest, I don't know anything specific.

My answer to your question is yes. Just a hunch though.
