Nope...it's mostly a showcase for the stupidity of the general public.

I'm on the verge of bailing on it myself.

Indeed. Wish this place would rev back up somehow. Wasting my time all day on FB is tedious and boring...doing it here was tough to step away from.

I've been around since the then SBN days of CLSB and now lurk mostly in the weapons/hunters forum since I am bikeless. I was wondering what happened to the site as the forums just weren't generating new content. Sad to see it as I only use fb to post pics of my kids for family members...otherwise I would dump it.

Always enjoyed being on CLSB. Sometimes threads would get heated but, I always enjoyed the debate and conversation with anyone who contributed...even if I disagreed strongly the give and take was usually very interesting. Facebook is mostly quick quips and bytes...no substance...no conclusion to intelligent thought..........Like Cerk said...boring! Mostly bizzaro world Hallmark greeting cards!
We can have it back...all we need to do is come here and post!...AND encourage others to do the same.

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

That's pretty much it for me...FB is great for connecting with family and old friends and for following the racers and their series...but it's just not any damn fun.

Over saturation of bull shit...removing the realness from those who do enjoy real people and know that it means more than......LOOK an ME. Facebook and all the fakeness well that should have been the real name of the site. Fakebook, there really was a good group of folks on this form. Damn I just realized I am becoming a tech hater..

I honestly would delete my FB account were it not for the connections to racers and racing I've developed on there. That's the one cool part, accessibility to those guys...but other than that it's a mish mash of annoyance. I think I've "unfollowed" something like 80% of my "friends" on that shitpie so I don't see the nonsense.
