Clickbait!

So what are the logistics of setting up a TT style event in rural central IL? Assume you would have to compensate the town(s) in some way above and beyond "hey more beer sales" but other than that? Just a permit from the city and some event insurance?

Wonder what the draw would be?

Figure it can't be too hard to setup a 30mi road course down there someplace...and energy drink companies will sponsor anything from what I can tell.

I'm anxious to watch the pro road racing season unfold. With DMG out and KRAVE in with the real AMA as the sanctioning body, road racing is definately headed back in the right direction!...ALSO...The recent historic conference of road racing organizations to find ways to work together and provide a clear path from amateur racing to the top level of pro racing has great potential! I believe that soon American riders will once again be the dominant group in ALL of the world's top series!
How about a CLSB ride and meet up spot at Road America in June? Maybe by the Brat stand on top of the hill between turns 3 & 4 by the foot bridge? I'm going...anyone who wants to ride with me is welcome.

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

A rural road course in central Illinois would be awful boring with just long flat straights with only 90 degree turns between cornfields...You know what they say..."Ride Illinois...11 curves in 318 miles!"................Besides...

There already IS a "TT"...American style... in rural central Illinois...Been happening since 1946...It's run on a prepared track between 2 farms down in a valley on a rural road called Cameron Lane just off state road 116 to Farmington from Bellevue in the Bartonville susburb of Peoria. They hold at least 2 races a year there with the biggest (a Grand National) being run this year on August 16 2015. They usually draw a pretty good crowd!

Yes. I usually show up at Strats with the GF and a bunch of friends from here and CRR (Chicago Russian Riders). Then we ride to the city to grab dinner a random places like Green Street bbq or Lockdown for some kick ass burgers and heavy metal.

Saw that turbospeed had a bike for sale..no title though :/

Anyone know if it's possible to get a title with a bill of sale so long as VIN is clean? It'd be nice to have a bike again..

Love the Air Ride Susp of the allroad for sure - With the right tires she is better than most SUVs in the snow too
