My new ride got delivered

Sold the Harley and bought another sport bike. 2012 Aprilia RSV4 Tuono "Factory" with 2000 miles on it. Had it delivered door step to door step from LA to my house. Got is a couple of days ago and took it for a ride yesterday as it was killing me not to ride it. Even though it was 41 degrees out I took it for a 20 min ride. Oh baby I love this thing. I have never a V4 and man its a beast.

Couple of pics of where I wish I was right now riding it in 75 degree and sunny weather, last pic is yesterday after my ride.

Wow, that's fucking awesome, congrats. Let us know your thoughts on the variable wheelie control once the weather breaks, I'm curious how well it works.

How did you ensure that he didn't fuck you over since it was a remote Craigslist deal? Escrow or did you use a proxy?

Nice bike Dude, Congrats! Being a huge Aprilia fan, I was torn between this and the Diavel and the Diavel won out because I wanted to try something different.

Glad you asked. I found it on craigslist via using searchtempest.com. Thing was it popped up only once because when I searched for it again via searchtempest it would come up so lucky I screen shitted and emailed the seller when I first saw it. I asked him obviously if he was flexible on the price and also why he did not have it for sale on the AF-1 forum. He told me he was a member there and he was going to toss it up for sale on the forum if it didn't sell in a couple of weeks on CL. So I did a search and saw his build on the forum and also researched his screen name and both his email addresses and also did research on his home and his loan that he had on his house. All checked out as he is on a beemer forum and a Porsche forum and his house is about 800K. I transfer the money via my Chase account to his Chase account and then paid the shipper to have them pick up the bike. He shipped the title to me and it was a done deal.

If there was a chance I was worried about the deal I would have just sent the money to Daryl from CLSB as he moved not to far from the seller and had him go grab the bike and had the shipper go to D's house instead. Either way I was not missing out on the deal.

Its not a ranger its a 2006 E-250 extended van. I bought it almost 2 years ago. No rust and the van was bought in the town of which the guy lived in. So it was a local van to his area. Bought it near Ft. Wayne Indiana.

The day I bought it. Stan came with me to drive it back. Rest stop on the way home

Took out the shelves and put in a leather bench seat that turns into a bed. All powered

Day the new plates came in

Packed up and headed to Pikes Peak
