Supercross Supercross SUUUUUPERCROSS

Seeing as there are only about 4 active members left on this board and the SX season is just starting, figured I would do something I have not done in quite some time.......start a thread

I wanna see ET3 step it up this weekend and I thing Copper Webb is going to keep that Red Plate for a while

dirty diesel dungy is a punk ass bitch for taking bubba out like that, during his interview I walked down closer to the field, surrounded by orange ski hats, and when it got quiet so they could hear him I screamed like a mental patient " you suck dungey" at the top of my lungs,,, a couple hundred people were close enough to hear me, most laughed and cheered my comment, no one from KTM seemed to get upset by this

see, me and shawn at supercross , then I went to milestone ranch sunday to ride, and they have 2 cute girls running the pro shop at the track and they do the work, I needed a chain and sprockets and they had the parts for a good price, only $30 for this cutie to install while I watch, so I rode till I was exhausted, hand her the bike, half hour later she's done and I go back out on the track,,, like a BOSS! where else could that happen?

I saw the crash with JS7 and Dungy as it happened on TV and several replays. I'm convinced it was just a racing deal. Matter of fact I think Dungy was trying to regain control after that last whoop threw him off...It's also interesting to note that while Bubba was taking the drug...which is for ADD...that he was suspended for using, he didn't crash! The reality is that the drug is allowable if prescribed and the proper papers are filed. He looked real good before the incident with Dungy...I wonder if he filed the proper paperwork and is taking the drug within the rules now?

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

If you want to anger a conservative, tell him a lie. To anger a liberal all one must do is tell the truth!

I agree that it looked like a typical racing incident, he came in hot and Dungey was in motion. How about Jason Anderson? He was killing it, seems like the training program is working out for him.

This. For the first season in memory I know all the riders through 10+ positions each race. Good battles everywhere, and pretty balanced TV coverage.

Also - Cooper Webb is good at riding dirtbikes.

Elroy - if more local shops had reasonable prices and attractive staff, there would be more local shops! (let that be a lesson to you Chicago Performance)

Webb is fucking good alright. I'm about to give up on Bubba's return... This year, for the first time in over a decade, I can guarantee being home (USA) to watch ever single race. We should setup a good ol' fashioned pool for each race in both classes, for shits and gigs. I don't even care if there is money involved....

Anyone hitting any of the local SX races? Me and the GF are planning on hitting one either Detroit, Indy or St. Louis. I have never been to one so I am excited to see one.

NASCAR HOLESHOT (Weigandt)
Pretty big promotion this weekend as NASCAR stars Danica Patrick, Jimmie Johnson, Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer, Ty Dillon, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. get ready to actually participate in the supercross show on Saturday night. Bowyer, Biffle, Dillon, and Stenhouse will all be on 250Fs and will battle each other out of the starting gates to see who can snag a holeshot (Patrick will serve as 30-second-card girl for that start while Johnson will drop the gate). NASCAR drivers do all manner of promotions throughout the year, but getting four of them on dirt bikes in a competition the weekend of a NASCAR race is a big deal. There's even a little bit of risk involved, even though it's just a start, but the fact that they're all doing this shows something big: for years, supercross and motocross talked about trying to "be more like NASCAR." But times and demographics are changing, and these days NASCAR wants to be more like supercross.
