Anyone out there ever rode a rs250?

I might be taking a race ready rs250 straight from Japan. Before I get serious into it has anyone ever rode one or something like it tz250; nsr250. Just wondering and what is your opinion?

There's acouple 2 stroke riders out here. Is this a track bike or a steert legal version???

I acutally never had the opportunity but they looked like fun, but a little tempermental. On the track bikes you have to rejet the carbs for the air temperature. Rebuilds are easy to do but happen frequently on race motors. A weaker less stressed street bike motor probably won't require too much maintenance.

They always looked like fun to me! They are very smaller, light and narrow. Power ot weight ratio on a Race version 250 is equal to a 600. A street bike is more liek a SV650.

The 250's BTW if you didn't know are 2 cylinders in a V configuration. 125's are single cylinders. 500's are V-4's except the Proton which was a weird 3 cylinder design.
