Got my paintball marker today

Bought this

Complete kit for $169 (9oz tank, butt, hopper and mask). Only thing I plan on getting right away is a 24oz tank (we wont be playing at a paintball field, friends parents property, 33acres) and a few ammo tubes.

Buddy aint gonna like me.D Bet his ebay deal needs to be rebuilt when it arrives.D

Maybe we could bring them to the trackday and have Vcook ride around and let us repaint his bike for him.D

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Tubes aren't entirely necessary. THe CO2 is, and a barrel wouldn't hurt. Those Tippy stock barrels suck. Overall though, Tippman guns are awesome! I have a 98 custom with a Stone Cold 2 barrel, couple other mods.

Congrats!

Well its easier to carry extra balls in them than trying to drag a box around. Not gonna get crazy like some people do with them. Its just for fucking around in teh woods with friends.

True. You can get a nice barrel for 70 dollars though. And the tubes are easier, but get a cheap lil backpack holder with 'em if you buy it. They make some where you don't even have to take the cap off, you just slam it into your hopper and the lid slides back.

Definately get a new barrel, maybe look into getting an expansion chamber since you'll be running C02. I don't have to worry bout it since I'm runnin Nitrogen.

I went to the bad lands twice last year. and all i have to say is IT IS A PLACE WERE A ACCIDENT IS WAITING TO HAPPEN> not much saftey pushed there. IMO

I really like Challenge Park in Joliet! It is much better place. and the people and the workers really care about safety.

+1 The Sportspark is bigger also, and has better stages. Your talking about the place where there's a stage called Armageddon right?

I have the same gun with a 14in barrel, CF air tank, rapid fire trigger, and everything else Tippy makes for the gun.

I will be at Challenge park 4/14
Paintball Sams(big game) 5/1, 5/2 PM me for more info.

Tubes make it easier and faster to reload. And a little sack that carries at least 2 tubes will be fine.

Get an air tank if you can C02 sucks big time.

I hate playing rec ball but if we can get enough people together we should do a Challenge Park Extreme outing if possible. The paint is a little pricey there, but the fields they have are the best that I have ever played on. The reffing staff is a little understaffed, but safety is one of their priorities and that means a lot to me. 20 bucks gets you in and you get all day air(CO2 and/or Compressed Air).

I've been playing on amateur paintball teams since 98 and I've played in CA, NC, and IL. I'm running an almost stock Angel LCD with a 68cu 4500 PSI Armageddon tank.

OK, so what psi is the compressed air at? Is that something I can fill with my air compresssor then?

How long does a nitrogen tank last? And how $$$?

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

psi for compressed air is from 3000, 4500, to 5000 now I think. I've had mine for about 4 years.. everything works fine.. if you get it from air america, it has a lifetime warranty.. you only need to hyrdostatic test the tank every 3 or 5 years I think, which costs about 30 bucks to do.

If you want to just to rec ball, don't buy nitrogen. It costs a lot of money to get a nice tank, and not worth it unless you are doing tournaments. I'm good at paintball, but for 500 dollars I'd rather spend it on my bike.
