Saw the most disturbing tv program today...

It was a repeat of a Diane Sawyer special in which they marked the 10th birthday of those Indiana sextuplets.

Holy crap that's a lot of...crap. And crying and diapers and puke and fistfights and retainers and eyeglasses and.... And they have NINE pets on top of it all!!

The light at the end of the tunnel was it seems they were rather well-adjusted and well-behaved children at 10 yrs old. Each is on the honor roll. And the parents seem as if their relationship is still intact.

But holy crap! I am henceforth instituting a strict 'look-but-do-not-touch-me' policy!!

I remember watching the special she did when the kids were born. Wow... its been 10 years already?

I think its very unnatural to have that many children.... yes I know she had the doctor pump her full of fertility drugs. That's my point. Either she'd have no kids or she'd have 6. I'm glad they all survived.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Well, I think it's unnatural because of the drugs to have that many at one time.

However, I went to school with someone from a family of 11. And my dad's aunt had 16!!!

You know I thought about it more today and I guess if I was going othave more than 1 kid, maybe I would want them all at once. I bet it sucks when you have one get out of a certain stage but then you have to go through it all over again with the next one.

Those people in IN get those 6 kids in and out of stuff pretty quickly, then it's all behind them. And looks like they do a good job....

I can't imagine having that many kids.....I have two....one going off to college next fall, that's costing us 43K a freaking year. Imagine all of them going to college the same time And lets say they went to some place that was 10k a year, would they get a volume discount?

Sometimes goodbye is your second chance.

C'mon Rick....start pushing Ohio State!!! (that was the one with the scholarship right?)

Look, I can appreciate this. I was young too, I felt just like you. Hated authority, hated all my bosses, thought they were full of shit. Look, it's like they say, if you're not a rebel by the age of 20, you got no heart, but if you haven't turned establishment by 30, you've got no brains. Because there are no story-book romances, no fairy-tale endings. So before you run out and change the world, ask yourself, "What do you really want?"
