I had two cocker spaniels - both of them "unplanned kids" so to speak. The male was a case of a three week dogsitting stint that ended up lasting almost 8 years (he passed away 2 months ago of old age) and the female (whom I still have) is a stray that hopped on the Metra train one day when I was coming home. If you still live over by the Brickyard and your dog is looking for a female friend to socialize with, let me know.

Alright, his name is "Peluche" which translates to stuffed animal. He looks like a cloud with legs. He is doing well, hyper but well. You know after all he still is a pup. I have to take him to Petsmart for a bath and grooming this weekend. He doesn't like baths. Last time he bathed me! But he loves my daughter and my daughter loves him. That's all I can ask for.

Cocker? But I don't even know her?

My vote would have been for "Steve", but hey, whatever works.

Actually he looks like he has paint rollers for legs. But as long as he gets along well with your daughter, that's the main thing.

And since you said he's hyper, I'd suggest getting a bottle of "Nature's Miracle" while at PetSmart. Trust me, I know about hyper male cocker spaniels.
