do you mean to run multiply IMs? I don't know, you can always just run the AIM though.

btw, on aim, you don't loose your buddy list. Everytime you connect, it downloads it from the server.

Ken, if ya did mess up the password, go here:
http://www.aim.com/help_faq/forgot_p...word.adp?aolp=

With trillian though, on some pc, it gets buggy and shows as though you're signed on, but you're not... therefore your buddy list is empty...

if you really did blow away your buddy list from the server you can probably at least reconstruct the ids by looking in the trillian log files and jotting down the names.

Ken, if you canceled your AOL account then you have to create a new AIM screen name. They don't let you use the screen name that was used with your AOL account. I had the same thing happen to me in November when I got my comcast account.

Also, if you go the folder that Trillian is installed in, typically C:\Program Files\Trillian go to the users directory then go to the default directory. There is a file in there called Buddies.xml. This file contains all of your buddy lists for the different accounts that you set up. You should be able to open this file in Internet Explorer or Netscape and get the screen names from that.

C:\Program Files\Trillian\users\default\Buddies.xml
