Ribfest band schedule for 2004

Well, it's about that time again folks! Those who know what ribfest is, please explain it to the n00bs. But here is the link to the band lineup for this year...

www.ribfest.net/entertainment.php

Among the list are such names as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Poi Dog Pondering, Lee Greenwood and Umphrey's McGee.

If you have never attended a Ribfest, you have no idea what you're missing!! You need to get out to Naperville over the weekend of July 4th, eat lots of ribs, drink lots of beer and listen to some good music!! I asure you, good times WILL be had by all! (Oh, of for those with kiddies, there is plenty for them to do too. Check out the website and look at all the fun things there are for families.)

Are there rides so that after we we can <---puke

I've never been to Ribfest, but I've planned on going this year...

If you're a band, you know your career has tanked if you're playing "Ribfest" J/K...last year they had Better Than Ezra...

Ribs are good...I wonder what kind of festival vegetarians have?

Hell with that.......we get the family together, cook out, ride atv's/dirtbikes all day and then hot tub in the evening.......all for less than you'd spend in beer at those places, especially Ken by the looks of it.

Last year at Rib Fest I had my first rib sandwich (Riblet) EVER, I'll never eat dead animal off the bone (ribs) but when necessary I can eat meat if itís disguised as a patty of some sorts. It was the best freakiní sandwich that Iíve ever had. I canít wait to have another one. Iíve been looking for one since last year, no one makes a good Riblet anywhere, no one really makes any Riblets around here though. Iíve tried all the places.
