New Car question

I am thinking about the next car I want to pick up. I have looked online at the car and they have the model and then package upgrades. One of the things I want to pick up is the navigation system, but online that is bundled into the entertainment package as well. I do not need or really want the dvd capability with the tv. Is this only dont on the web to simplify things or is it different if I go into the dealership? What i mean is, can i go into the dealership and say i want this and this and that and not have to get the whole package online?

It depends on brand.

For example Nissan offers navigation for $2000. You could always go into a dealer and ask to do a special order and wait 4-8 weeks for the car too.

Or you can go buy some paper maps.

No they usually don't cost more. You just have to ask about it cause some dealers will take them out of the packages and others will not.

If I got a navigation from Best Buy or something, so you can take it from car to car, and it will be cheaper.

I think with Honda/Acura, they only have limited option packages, so unless you want a dealer-installed option, you need to get the whole package.

Most times, getting the WHOLE package is cheaper than selecting options out of that package individually.
