Change of plans

Well it looks like I am NOT coming home in July and August. I just got offered a GREAT internship for the summer, but it is in San Antonio. (just one block from that lamppost I hugged, by the way)

I will still be home tomorrow, for two weeks-- but that's it. I doubt I will have the werewithal to drive the bike all the way up during the 4th of July or anything....

So we're going to have to action-pack the next two weeks. Waterskiing, drinking, FASTER.... by the time I'm ready to go home you'll all be dying for me to go back!!!

I have an extra bike. But since you're a Honda rider I don't think you could handle the power and agility of my green machines.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

I actually thought about lending her a bike...But the Sporty wouldn't work. It's way too slow...She'll never keep up with the people with whom she'd likely be riding...

I could lend her the R6 for a ride out... That will benefit me too cuz then I'll actually get something done one evening.

She's in for the girl's ride tomorrow, she'll be riding a yellow F4i .... I just hope the weather is suitable for riding.

how nice of everyone to offer you a bike to ride! that's pretty sweet. perhaps we'll see you at the next strat's night.

also, congrats on getting your internship. I feel internships are really important and I don't think I would have ever ended up in the position that I am in if I hadn't gotten my internship.

I think the internship is THE most important part of your education. It's the real difference between getting a job outta college or living with your parents for months looking for a job. Employers could give two shits about your schooling...They wanna know what you've actually DONE.

Very good decision.

If you need a bike for a group ride, lemmie know.

I trust her. She likes the R6 and I enjoy helping people have fun. I wouldn't lend a bike to 1) an inexperienced rider 2) A rider with a history of crashing 3) A testosterone gorrilla guy 4) Any member of EMR.
