cost to title/plate a trailer??

Okay folks,

What's the cost to title/plate a trailer in Illinois? I need to take care of this tonight.

Also, is this covered under my automobile insurance?
I'll just ask the insurance company, need to call them anyways.

Plates are based on the GVWR of the trailer. Auto coverage probably will not cover replacing the trailer itself (I have a separate policy for mine that's like $15 a year or something). Check with your agent.

I learned that you can't title the bike w/o the bill of sale.

does the invoice count as that?? I did manage to find my invoice, but I'm pretty sure I can't go back to THAT currency exchange tonight. Hope to find one in Waukegan or Antioch.

you need to pays sales tax (if not already paid on invoice)

title and plates are $95 (you must do both if if's in your name)

our new 5x10 trailer bouhgt in Indiana cost me $47 in state tax and than $95 for the title and plates good throught 6/05

plate went up this year for trailers, i beleive all trailers under 3500 lbs (?) are $18 .

the only reason i say that is because i beleive the title is $65

i registatred it in May, you beleive they made me pay $18 for the rest of 04 (1 MONTH!!!) and 05. what a scam!!!!
