What happened to the power just now. The city just blinked. Crazy you see anything in the news.

I know the merc had a hickup too.

I'm not short. I'm aerodynamically efficient.

Nothing happened here. Nothing on the news either. You guys are on a different Grid over there I believe. about 5 years ago it fried. It's supposed to be really old.

I think there is a different gide in Northbrook and a friend in south holland said he saw it too.

Just talked to my guys on the Midwest exchange, they had a hicup too, but no one on the trading floor knows what happened

Are you sure where your at there isn't a huge backup and surge protector system???

maybe just the exchange was effected. Our data center is of course on a massive backup system but the rest of the office is not, and would be effected.

We here also have huge backups and surge protectors.. this used to be some kindof goverment bulding and there are safteys for the safteys for everything here.

ComEd transformer blew in the southern burbs i guess the radio is saying. Somewith out power while the repairs are made but they switched over immediately. They shut down residential to repair the t-frmr.

i friggin knew something happened!!

i was sitting at my desk reading a .txt file and just the slightest dim in the light it was soo quick no one else noticed.

now i saw this and i was like "i knew something had to have happened!!!!!"

by im in aurora at the moment.
