CHILLS.....you SOB BASTARD YOU!

Sure, just a few minor cells here and there.......and that was ok for the most part UNTIL........

I ran into a fucking tornado in Kenosha/ Racine counties.....

And I got friggin soaked! Couldn't even see anything , cars were pulling off the road......made it to Hwy 20 exit and a gas station where.......I called the wife to come get me with the truck.

F'ng 50mph gusts and a downpour from hell......the Mille handled it just fine(was getting pushed around a little), too bad my Arai didn't come with wiper blades, I would've kept going.

ah well, all's well that ended with me safe at home.

Taz, man I wasn't forecasting that far north. Next time I'll look at stuff north of Chicago. Sorry about that, and I'm glad you made it home okay.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

There was rain? Oh... you mean the 5 minutes in my driveway. It was a beautiful evening at da Grove... clear skies cool temps and not overly humid.

Kimmy, when I drove by the grove a little before 5 PM it was a serious thunderstorm up here! I could barely see the road. But that was Highway 11, isn't the Dragaway off of KR? Still that's only a mile south.

GLD is on KR.

I was on the phone with the track staff around 5:30... there was rain at the north end of the track but the paddock was bone dry.

We started making passes at 7:00... clear skies overhead but storms both to the north and south. By the time I left at 9:30, all was clear.
