small budget: Ikea
big budget but at discounted price: a furniture place
in Morton Grove.. its a warehouse for the overstocked stuff..
Its off of Ferris and Dempster... called Domicile.
We bought all our stuff there.. they do negotiate and there is whats called a progressive sale.. things get cheaper over several days.

there is a place in LaGrange (I think it's called Cossitts) but I can check, great prices on top quality stuff. You order exactly what you want, and you don't pay alot for it either

Yep.....the only place I would actually buy furniture and I design build furniture for a living, you better like Stickley and Craftsman style furniture tho.

Sometimes goodbye is your second chance.

WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT go to Harlem Furniture! I basically got screwed by them twice! 1st time was okay lets get this resolved, 2. time was i will have my lawyer contact you.

Lets say they will push you till the point of getting a lawyer to solve a situation and then they give in real fast.

Problem was dining room furniture-damaged furniture, broken, ripped/torn seat, scratched wood, THEN they refused to help anymore after 5 attempts. The customer service dept. then had the friggin balls to tell me i need to be flexible because ALL furniture has damage one way or another! I said i paid for new furniture and thats what i want. Then they said "What do you expect with such an inexpensive set. Holy Smokes the wife was gonna kill this guy! I said forgive me if we are not as loaded as you but 5G's is a lot of money to me! He then said what? You only bought 2 end chairs and a table? (It was a full set mind you table 8 chairs, pads, serving side table, lighted china cabinet etc. etc.) Basically they were so screwed up it was pathetic! I said forget it and refund the money. He said "I'm sorry we wont do that. The furniture has already been delivered and invoiced." I asked his name and told him do not go anywhere cause i am coming to the store right now to get my money from him personally!"

Well when i got there the Schaumburg PD was waiting as well!
Basically i had to call the company located in Ohio and after explaining everything i recieved a total refund AND $250.00 in store credit. I never used that credit just on principal alone!

Long story short----DO NOT GO THERE!
