Speed, Style, & Sound ----> 2Wheel Tuner Mag

For those of you that were receiving Speed, Style, & Sound - signing up either through CLSB or the bike show, we are proud to announce that the first issue of 2Wheel Tuner is in the mail!

If you were receiving Speed, Style, & Sound, you will now get 2Wheel Tuner instead - a new magazine for all sportbike riders. We cover everything from street, to strip, to stunting, with some roadrace and supermoto thrown in for good measure.

If for some reason you still get Speed, Style, & Sound, please PM me and I will get things straightened out.

Thanks!

-Todd

I received it just the other day. All I can say is keep up the good work, this is on-par with the British sportbike magazines that I will say are a lot more fun to read then anything America has to offer (until now )

Its great!

Also, your project R1 seems to be an '02(black frame being the first tip off) not an '01 as listed. Same goes for the readers ride on the last page. Also, regarding the euro bike show that was covered, there was a caption identifying a bandit12 as a gsxr1100. While the motor in the b12 is based on the gsxr1100 lump, the b12 is a separate bike. Notice the tubular perimiter frame, not the telltale cradle frame of the 1100. I think I might have too much free time.

Interesting seeing big Dave Sonsky of starboys and Superbike fame come on as the editor, should bring an interesting flare. Seems like the issue was a cross between streetfighters and superbike(personal favs of mine), so I like the format a lot! You got a lot of potential with this mag!

ah, the bike they are working on has a silver frame and is most likely an '01 but the picture at the beginning of the article is an '02-'03 model!

Glad you like it guys - I'll pass the info onto Dave regarding some of the pics.

Champ91 - PM sent.

FYI - we were at the Prostar event this weekend at Norwalk, and do plan to do more drag race coverage.

We'll also be at Laguna Seca and Mid Ohio for AMA Superbike.

Tony - we're trying to figure out what to do with the clubs in this new mag - shoot me a PM if you have any ideas.

Ken - we split the motorcycle magazine from the car magazine and went international with it. There is so much cool stuff to cover in the sportbike world and we were taking too much space in the car mag, so we decided to split them and be able to cover even more.

FYI - I know it's a bit of a ride from Chicago, but we're having a launch party with Joe Rocket in Detroit on Thursday August 5th, which happens to fall on bike night in Royal Oak (hundreds of sportbikes gather downtown). You're welcome to join us. There will be some cool giveaways from 2WT, Joe Rocket, Sportbike Track Time, etc.). More details to follow.

i like the mag better this way, although me and dave "i think it was agreed" to help each other, i would let him advertise on the board help promote his magazine, and he would put our website in the website page of the magazine, now that agreement has been broken.

do you plan to put our banner back in your magazine?

In the specs chart for the Duc 749 you have the frame listed as aluminum twin spar. As far as I know Ducati is still using their classic steel trellis frame!

I'm available for pre-print data checking lol
