Very nice, especially with the waterfall. Friends of ours are into the whole pond tour thing. Pretty cool when you get Koi.

Is there anyway to hide this thread? If my mom sees it on my comp screen by a small chance, then she is going to want me to take pictures of ours and post them...and I don't want to do that.

The wife works for Aquascape Designs (Batavia). Their the largest pond/water feature company in the world. They sponsor the "Parade of Ponds" tour on the weekend of the 17th and 18th of July. Which ponds are available for viewing around Chicagoland.

This build was a courtesy to her as an employee, but if done would cost (because of the high priced Moss rock) around 25-30K.

Her comapny makes many lower priced kits, supplies, and does installations also.

I'm kinda buzzed (if you were wondering ) but if you have any questions or would like to see it, feel free to call or stop by. 708-912-1480

Nice pull.

Seriously though, can we come over and fish pretty much whenever? Or should we wait til you guys are home or something? Great spot for a shore lunch if you ask me!

Kinda what I'm thinking

Put it to good use. Farm raise some cat, bass, and maybe a trout or two.

Seriously, if your handy, a kit and some rock will cost you about 2-3K. You have to be creative, but it is a fun job to do. Most people start small, and work their way out. We were lucky to be able to get this one..

The guys that did ours are considered the best builders in the biz, so again, we were very fortunate.

The parade of Ponds is on the 17th and 18th. It's a charity event, so there is a fee. You can get tickets, and maps at most landscaping places, and nurseries.

Of course, you are all welcome at my place for free, and if I know when you coming, I'll have plenty of beer.
