Some people are just too friggen popular!

Offer Tony to pay for the disk storage and the problem will probably go away.

Otherwise, like you asked...what is the f-ing problem?

The problem is that the title shows up whether she clicks on the thread or not. It's a reasonable request to consider, but it's not a rule violation at this point.

Well, since the other thread got locked, I'll respond here.......

Zerota, it's my signature you were talking about. It happens to be the name of a restuarant I like.......nothing offensive about it.

'Douche' is on my television advertising(public channels- and let's not for get tampon and pad commercials).......and all us grown-ups should be USED to the word and what it's for......I'm surprised females take seeing it so badly!

And I delete my messages as I read them unless they contain info I need, then they get moved to 'save'..........BTW, I'm not that popular so I get maybe 2-3 per day.

There are lots of words and phrases used on TV and on the street that are not appropriate for the work environment. That was the point being made and I think it was pretty clear.

Also, I believe you will find that discounting peoples' feelings because of their sex is not something that you should be "surprised females take seeing it so badly".

The point being made had little to do with the fact the person raising it was female. The fact that it was made into that is what is offensive. The SAME reason why some of the threads concerning race end up being closed.

I never said I was offended. Someone walking by might see "...HOOTERS" and wonder what I'm up to, that's all. I'm supposed to be working anyway, so it's my fault if anyone does see it. I thought I mentioned it wasn't a big deal?

Well, I get why she was offended.....the WAY it was said to her....

And if the word DOUCHE isn't appropriate(among the dozens of other words you know of) for a work environment....maybe people should actually be WORKING at work instead of surfing the web, screwing off on company time, hence not being able to get in trouble .........JMHO.

Most people are allowed to surf the web at work to a point but company policys state strict rules about offensive material. Now if this web site is not work safe than not everyone can enjoy it. since people will not be allowed to surf it from work. I've had some people tell me that thier IT departments checked the site and deemed it allowed to surf from work because we moderate it like that. Now that makes me happy becasue I know everyone can get on and enjoy it with out havuibg to wiorry about thier boss walking by and hi/her eyes bulging out of thier head saying WTF is that your looking at?!?!?!

Or I could just let anythinggo and only have 2 people on all day since no one else would be able to come on. How boring would that be. last I checked we were all adults here and are capable of acting like it.

Not all of it is about being work safe either some, theres alos a certian level of class I would like to be associated with the site, we are in mixed company here, If you wouldnt want it said in front of your wife and kids at the dinner table, I would rather it didnt be blerted out here, since oher peoples wifes and kids are here. its really simple.

Agreed, but that leaves it at a pesonal issue......other than graphic nudity(like that milk shake video), there's not much else I mind having my wife/child hear around MY house. I don't live in a sheltered PC world and don't want my kid thinking the world is like that.......I really find it funny when people watch their tongues around my boy yet I swear like a sailor even when he's present.

pointless to argue though........so I'll leave it at that.

Yeah, I deleted that thread. Just wanted to get things back to normal around here.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."
