Talking Help a College Student - Take My Survey

Hey All. I am taking a summer english class (English Composition II). In this class I have to write 3 papers. A Library Research Paper, A Field Research Paper, and a Synthesis Paper. All three are on the same topic. My topic is focusing on 2 aspects of motorcycling; Helmets and Lane-Splitting. The Library Research paper is already done and handed in. If you wish, you can read it HERE. Mind you, I'm and Engineering student, not a writer, and it's VERY apparent in that paper.

So to complete the field research paper, I need to do some field research. This portion of the field reserch is a survey, which I hope that you will take some time out to complete. Your information is very valuable to me, and I thank all of you who participate.

Please take the survey by clicking HERE!

(If possible, could a mod please sticky this for 24 hours, thanks)

Is it a research paper or supporting a personal opinion? Noticed that you used the word "I" in it...if it's a research paper, shouldn't be any. But maybe I should just keep my mouth shut

First off, thanks for all the reply and help so far.

Biggy,
It is an argumentative research paper. And my college professor supports the use of the word "I."
