I've had the Stone park one before. Then when you go to court everyones ticket gets dismissed with a hefty fine. All about revenue. Which is fine, I wish all towns would do that, at least they would stay off my record. I dont mind paying the fines.

I might add this one.
Oakbrook:
Entrance ramp from 31st on to Rt. 83 north. Cop sits backwards at the end of the ramp and shots people coming under the bridge. You cant see him until it's too late.

Hmm,

Hainesville? My whole town is listed? May as well add Round Lake(s) to it as well. They are now all the same police station (1/4 mile from my house). Makes my place safer when the cops drive by a couple times an hour.

Lincolnshire? Easy pickin's here, virtually no residental and people always speeding to work.

Palatine?
Yeah, seen ALL those. That one in Palatine off hy.53 is nasty. I've seen 4 cops there between Palatine and Lake cook road at the same time. Easy pickins since the flow of traffic is usually fast there. They just pick out the fastest ones.

Yeah, you didn't know about that? Hainesville used to be the worst when it came to tickets, although it may not be anymore and I've never gotten a ticket there or anything, so oh well. I was always careful driving down 120 though -- 40 mph exactly.

Also, right outside Johnsburg is where I got that speeding ticket from the nice Lakemoor PO who thought we were trying to run from him. I think most of those traps listed are right on point.

Running from the cops at the speed limit!

Think I still owe you a couple beers for taking THAT hit.

Chicago/Stickney:
51st street west of Central Avenue. The north side of the street is Stickney, while the South side is Chicago. Either Stickney cops or Cook County cops enforce the 30 mph limit AND stop signs!

Yep got nailed here in the cage a couple times. Once for speeding, once for blowing a stop sign where there is no stop sign both times by cook county. I asked the cop which stop sign I blew, he changed the subject, asked him to take me and show me where it was, no reply. He wrote down that I blew the stop sign at 51st and Central, where there is a stop LIGHT not a sign so I took pictures of the intersection and got out of it. It's been ok over there lately though, I even take that way home occaisionally to practice my garbage wheelies (it's usually traffic free late at night).

Well they did have 4 state police cars sitting on the side of the road about 3/4 miles down just over the crest of a hill.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Harwood Heights- just mark the ENTIRE VILLAGE as a speed trap.

Be careful going north on Nagle Ave where it curves around Wilson, they sometimes wait in the driveways. They also wait in the Butera parking lot by Gunnison or in the parking lot behind the stores just north of Gunnison just as you re-enter Chicago. I even remember seeing a canine unit parked near my uncle's house...to catch speeders?
