I was that way too, only liking the old stuff. Say up to signals. Then I thought is got soft sounding. But I listen for what Neil Peart is doing on the drums, as well as the other stuff. now I think Grace under pressure is a great record. Power Windows + Hold your fire, not the best but have some winners on there. Presto, Roll the Bones, Counterparts, Test for Echo, Vapor Trails, All good.

Damn, I haven't seen them in years. Saw them on the Test For Echo tour (7th row center!!) and Counterparts. Might make this one, but from what I gather the United Center isn't the best place for a concert. They doing the Bradley Center in Milwaukee this time? I thought they hit Milwaukee last time around, and that market is so much smaller than Chicago I doubt they'd hit it again. But the Bradley Center is good for concerts.

Is the new Rush CD good? Haven't heard anything other than the first single.

Kim, they played ALL of 2112 on the last tour. I got pissed because some asshole posted the set list without a spoiler message I prefer NOT to know the set list before I get there.

I saw them on the "Caress of Steel" tour. They were the warmup act for ELP. You can imagine that ELP had to rock the house after following Rush. Quite a gutsy move having such a GREAT warmup act! I've seen that ploy backfire a few times.

Caress of Steel tour? Damn, that was what, '76? I won't tell you what I was doing then.

Great warmup act? Well, Ted Nugent had Kiss open for him in 75 or so. Then, when I saw them last it was the other way around . Now, I've seen KISS 4 times. last concert was their weakest (but still better than 95% of the shit out there). Ace and Peter were WAY off, never in the right spot at the right time.
