Lucky you! I wish I had $90,000.00 to spend on my next car like you - I admit I'm envious.

What a kick ass engine. To me, I see Formula 1 technology from their race program translated to the street.

612hp
737ft TQ

They also have a V8 in SL series

Now that is a freaking engine. Individual runner throttle bodies, indivdually tuned airhorns, actualy a real equal length shorty header. Oooo lala. Just wait till Dinan comes out with a supercharger kit.

Agreed. CL65AMG owns.

But, you gotta consider that's a V12 twin turbo. The BMW is a normally aspirated.

Getting 500hp from a N/A engine is truly amazing.

BMW v MB hmmm, different deal entirely

the new M5 will come with a 7 speed SMG. I'm not sure if I could live without a manual.

ya the only trans will be the SMG, no manual offered.

that's my biggest gripe with MB, only slushboxes in the US. I guess 99% of americans are just putz's anyway.

True, but a factory motor is a factory motor and it's a V10 as well.

I've heard all the Chevy guys complaining about this same thing when the 03 Cobra came out with the SC. I was pushing 600+ flywheel power in a 281ci stock motor.... now that's impressive. It may of had a blower but its still a great number to get out of a factory motor.

I just personally like Benz over BMW. I'd rather drive a slow Benz than a fast BMW. I've never liked the lines on bmw. Benz always seemed to be a sleeker looking car imo.
