anyone here smoke cigars?

not much of a cigar smoker but my optometrist gave me a Cohiba Red Dot and it was good. Probably the best I have ever had. What are some good cigars you all recommend?

I prefer the ones that are cut and filled with something else.

I prefer Romeo Y Julietas...great cigar decent price.

LICENCIADOS and Punchare both a great value for a handrolled....

Anything Montecristo is also good, but a little pricey.

I actually stay away from Cohibes...too many counterfits. I;ve had some terrible ones.

Also try....

Yep, I smoke cigars!

If I want something mid-range, I'll gravitate towards Cohiba. If I'm after something robust, I'll go with La Gloria Cubiana. My guilty pleasure is Cojimar with vanilla, sugar tip. It's a light cigar that won't overwhelm.

Cohibas are overated IMHO, I have had both real and fake due to no embargo in my home land. My personal favorite are Acid and Lars Tetens. I like Macanudos, Romeo & Julieta, CAO and a few others. I tried a cigar from Hawaii and it was terrible! I miss the old cigar shop...Fat Guys in Chicago. It went out of business.

All good suggestions so far. I also dig an Onyx now and again. Great coffee flavored smoke. Fairly mild.

Come on guys, whats wrong with the swisher sweets with the plastic tip? Those are a real cigar arn't they?

I have smoked Romeo & Juliets, Helix, Acid, and I recently had two Monte Cristos at Mortons. All I have enjoyed quite a bit all smooth even flavor, all are mild.

Two of my favorites:
Tobaco Ornelos #1 Vanilla
Tatiana Vanilla

I like the flavor of the vanilla cigars, and an added bonus is that the girls like the odor of them. They don't cringe when you light up.
