Looking for a beater car for a friend.

One of my friends just moved to Chicago from Poland. He's looking to buy a car that will get him to work and back. The most that he can spend is $2000. If anyone here has one for sale or knows anyone that does, please let me know. He wants to buy ASAP. We found him a job and he just needs a car to get started.

1988 Audi 80, with 115K miles, 5 speed, very good condition, new tires, new plugs, new cables, new air filter, new fuel-pump(pricey), new fuel filter, everything works in the car. It may need a exhaust gasket replaced, however, I have the gasket but to laisy to fix.

Asking 1200 or obo, for your frined and CLSB member 1100 or obo.

I just talked to my friend. He would be interested in either car. He would drive to work probably 10-15 miles each way. Pirate and RSVMillenian, can we stop by and take a look at the cars for sale?? The earliest that we can do is on friday after 2pm. Let me know what time would be good for you guys. Thanks again.

Oh yeah, how much for the pontiac, Pirate.
