Shoei second store?

in a recent encounter with a law enforcement offical, i was told that there is a Shoei second store located somewhere near the Target on Army Trail Road. close to some ice cream store maybe? although im not too keen on wearing a second helmet, it wouldn't be bad for slow shit in lots and whatnot. he also mentioned some were marked down due to being marked with the wrong size, drasticly marked down, like to $50.

Anyone heard of it, know where it is?

I doubt they would sell a unsafe helmet. Probably just screwed up grafics or a scratch or nick somewhere. It be a great place if it really exists, post an addy and # if you can get them.

I have never heard of anything like that before. If I bought one I would send it in to Shoei to have them inspect & signoff before using. But that is just me...

these were basically all my thoughts too. scratches and the like. the officer also mentioned mistakes in the size markings, and the snell stickers being placed in the wrong spot or missing all together.

im close too jeff...ill have to take a look one of these rainy days.

Contact Shoei directly about this. I heard Arai had a problem with someone selling cheap knock-offs labled with the Arai name.

Why would a Japanese company ship 'second' helmets all the way to Illinois to sell cheap?
