amityville horror movie filmed in illinois

amityville horror is being made again. 10th movie?

Ive read the location is in Buffalo Grove and another location near a lake.

I was wondering if anyone has seen any movie crews up there in buffalo filming?

Also, what is your opinion on amytiville. I was doing some researching about the history of it. I believe it was crimestories website had a very good story about the history and gives great depth of what happened.

There are also other websites describing the hoaxes of the 2nd family that lived in the house. That their story of the paranomal was made up to make a buck.

I wasn't born yet when the murders happened, and would be interested in the reaction in 74 when the murders took place to the older members of the forum.

one would have to assume it was a bit more of a general shocker since violance wasnt so prevelnt in the media and the avg house hold.

they have the story on court tv sometimes.

Willard: When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.

I remeber back right after that first movie came out. There was a house my dad was looking at up in green lake wisc. it looked exactly like the one in the movie, lake positioning and all, he almost got a real good deal on it because no one would buy it after the movie. but then my mom was too creeped out also and we didnt get it.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

I grew up on Long Island and after the movie came out I remember driving by the house. It was like a conga line of cars driving by to see the house. Must have sucked to live there.
