Family Guy mini-marathons!

I saw this advertisement while watching the Simpsons and couldn't click the green thumbs up button on TIVO fast enough. They are airing 2 hour marathons of Family Guy's past episodes.
The official website also had some behinds the scenes stuff from production. Looks like the entire cast is back!

if you have cable, they are on all the time. BTW, im watching it now.

Im planning on buying the DVD collections. The DVDs have a lot of cut scenes. I love their style of comedy.

They're planning on bringing the show back and creating original episodes again for Spike I think.

Actually, Fox gets first dibs, then Cartoon Network if Fox decides to nix them. I watched the 'trailer' on the Fox website. I'm just happy the real cast got back together. It would not nearly be as much fun without them.

Yeah, I think it's time to set the Tivo for family guy. I had it set for awhile, but when I caught episodes two or three times, I decided to turn it off for awhile.

And, for some reason, I didn't think the 'I need a Jew' episode was funny. Everybody thought it was nixed because it was fairly controversial, I just thought it wasn't funny.

I actually didn't think that that episode would be that controversial when I first saw it. I would have thought that the fat lady having a baby in the doorway while smoking a cigarette through her tracheotomy hole would have been much more offensive to people.

I just thought the Jew episode was hilarious because it was a musical throughout. Kind of reminded me of the South Park movie.

my fiance works for fox. they have the rights to it and will have the new episodes come out in jan or feb timeframe. they brought the show back because the DVDs were flying off the shelves and cartoon network was getting huge ratings for the reruns.

If there was such a following for the dvds and reruns, WHY THE HELL DID FOX CUT THE SHOW???? That makes no sense to me.

Angry letter-writing mothers combined with not realizing quite how popular the show was until they saw the DVD sales?
