That was awesome. When I was a kid, I begged my dad forever to let me get an rc plane. He always said no, because I would just destroy it as soon as I tried to land it. So he eventually bought me one, and of course...he was right.

Ditto. That's how I got interested in flying. Mine was a Stuka dive bomber. Saved up all summer for it. I did about 3 turns before nosing it in. Splaaaaaatttt....

I saw a fighter jet replica with a real jet engine at a fly-in in Eagle River WI a couple of years ago. It went for about 8 g's if I recall correctly. It was about 1 1/2 times the size of that yellow one (RIP )
