Need some good Karma for my partner.

Hi,

I know this is totally off topic, but my business partner of 25 years, Harold, is going through some medical problems and I just thought what the heck, this can't hurt.

About 2 months ago he developed 2 retinal tears in his right eye and had to have extensive emergency surgery. Pretty serious stuff. They even had to fill his eye with Nitrogen gas to hold the retina in place while it re-attached. He was stuck lying on his stomach for over a month while he healed. He finally gets back in the office 3 weeks ago on an almost full time basis so I start hitting the road again to make some $. Well yesterday he calls me that something is wrong and he is going back in. I cut my meetings short and hop the next flight back so we have local coverage. I just got off the phone with his wife. The scarring from the first surgery caused 3 new tears and he is back to square 1, plus his risk of a relapse went from 10% to 20+%. This is getting to be pretty scary.

So send some good Karma to Harold. He can use it. Heck, I can use it too as I have to do 2 jobs for another month or so again and I already work my fool ass off.

Thanks,

Bruce

I sure hope he gets better. I'm focusing my Karma powers as I type.

I, for one, know how bad it sucks not having eyesite. Hope he comes out ahead of the curve with all this. Best of luck to him.

BTW, did they say WHY this was happening? I mean, the retina can't just fall apart like that w/o reason. Just curious if you knew.....

Similar stuff happened to his mother so there is some family history. Of course, messing around with Krav Maga at 50+ and getting hit in the head on a regular basis might have had something to do with it too, but he claims not.
