Moving back to Chicago
For all of you old timers who may remember me, I'm leaving the sunny state of Arizona, and coming back to Chicago. I think I've hit every twisty road from Phoenix to Flagstaff (a sixty degree temperature difference), down through Sedona, up to Payson (voted one of the best scenic drives in the U.S.), more times than I can count. My true home is in Chicago, and I don't feel comfortable riding with anyone out here. They all either ride customs without any gear, or are a bunch of young squids. I've also found that many people enjoy getting ripped before taking off on their bikes when closing time rolls around. Twisty, clean deserted roads, winding trough the mountains, around lakes, and into forests are all beautiful; but nothing beats the Chicago skyline. I look forward to seeing familiar faces when I get back during the third week of this month. Hopefully I won't be too late to catch a group ride or two and see the leaves changing colors. Special thanks for keeping in touch Ernie, over instant messenger.
