HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Some of the comentary that was in the thread that I found that link was that those hornets are some form of Japanese species. Apparently they are particularily viscious, and extremely posionous to humans if stung.

Where's Doc. I'm sure he could dig up some information.

Giant Japanes Hornets

Quote:
A small but highly efficient killing machine—a hornet two inches long and with a wingspan up to three inches—lurks in the mountains of Japan. The voracious predator has a quarter-inch stinger that pumps out a dose of venom with an enzyme so strong it can dissolve human tissue.

Fuk hornets! God I hate those things. Bees don't bother anyone, unless atacked, but those fucking hornets are just mean bastards. Or is it wasps?

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

There are some giant & slow hornets around here too. I don't think they are the same kind though, ours do not seem very aggressive. Atleast not towards people.

hmmm so, they said that it takes about 3 hours for 30 hornets to kill 30,000 bees... so thats a thousand bees per hornet. In 3 hours, each of them would have to kill 333.3 per hour, or around 5.55 every minute. Hard work!

Damn!!!That was crazy shiznit. It was like real life Lord of the Rings I still hate anything with a stinger though.

Wow.. that was some deep Discovery Channel type footage! Talk about carnage! Those hornets were like a Special Forces team and anihilated those bees like nothing... but i don't like them or any stinger-armed flying thing... got stung once and never eva again!
