you did the right thing. if you had provoked him and done the super squidly thing you could have ended up in the body bag and this guy would have walked away from the accident with insurance to call. you toasted him on the highway. that shut the guy up even if he caught back up to you.

good job on keeping the road rage subdued. i am still trying to master that.

I probably would have done what you did.

A) Too many accidents and deaths lately from idiots getting in over their head. Also, the cops are on the lookout for bikes. If anything would have happened while you were playing "SuperSuqid", regardless if you caused it or he did... you were a speeding biker.

b) A car can do a lot more damage to you than you can do to it. Screwing with him would not be too bright.

c) You pulled off and he did his thing. If anything happened to you I doubt your kids would forgive you or, more importantly, you would have forgiven yourself.

Kudos to you for keeping a cool head and doing the responsible thing.

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Godspeed 788!!! We miss you!

If there is very little trafic and I feel in "control" of teh situation... i might play with him for a little while. But in the evening or on a busy freeway.... I won' risk my own life or have the asshole crash inot another car.

At some point, I ususally stop if he's willign to put himself in serious harm.

killer cagers

about 9:30 last night i was out on 290e heading out to the city. I see a riced out rx-7 on the way and blow past it without thinking anything of it, i have no clue what speed i was doing since the speedo's all off since regearing. so im riding cruising totally relaxed enjoying the cool wind and the dipsh** decides hes gonna come up behind me and cut me off intentionally. fine i hang back a little for him to do his thing and tone down the testosterone a little. nope the a*%hole has to slow down so he could check my bike out, right next to me at this time. so hes looking at me and starts swerving into my lane i look at him and basically said WTF!!!! so he flicks me off and does it again. so ok i have an r1 but he's got a rx-7 and we've got so many cars all around us so i decide ok i'll be a sqiud for a little bit. i take off, he decides to follow but i lose him since i can fit between cars (i know i was shaking my head too). after a little bit of squidness i chill out for a little bit and start cruising again just to find the a*&hole next to me again at this point i couldnt risk any more so i decide to get off austin pull over at a gas staion and have a smoke to avoid any more confrontations (i've got 2 kids to get back home to). what would you guys have done

1. be a supersquid and drive like a whatever all the way to the final destination..
2. try screwin with him (not knowing if this guys strapped or bigger and stronger than me).
3. the choice i took which i feel like a puss for but im living today to talk about.

im just pissed that i had to back down having the bike that i have but having to be the RESPONSIBLE one

cagers are D*&%heads

hope i can hold onto my license this summer

And that's why we should be able to carry firearms. You know what I say fu*k it and carry one anyway and the next time someone screws with you follow them to their destination and when no one is around shoot the fu*king bastard or go get a fake badge and flash it at them and see what do. Sorry, I'm tried of hearing about dumb ass cagers messing with bikers. You did the right thing.
