wow!! thats freakin awsome!!!

i remember when Conan had just started i thought it was the funniest stuff out there.

Congrats to him.

Willard: When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.

they made the announcement to make sure that Conan wouldn't fly NBC's coupe when his contract expires next yr. This way they dangle the carrot in front of him so he signs another contract to get him to '09

Should be interesting - Conan will need to step it up when he comes over to the Tonight Show. He's kind of a goof and makes fun of his own show and stuff - its funny but not appropriate IMHO for show like the Tonight Show.

I remember when Conan first aired - I thought it was horse$hit. Didn't think he was that funny - he was just an odd guy with too much makeup on...

He's definitely gotten funnier over the years.

conan is the best in late night, just barely edging out an aging Letterman. Leno doesnt even rank.

Conan wasn't funny in the beginning, he was on a day by day contract and tehn they got him new writers and the show took off. Conan is also very well educated and was a SNL writer for a while before getting the show. I am not big fan of David L. and think that Leno is beating Dave everyday.

Once Andy Richter left the show, I think it started to get awkward. That duo was a comedy inferno. I had to be careful watching the show because it would give me asthma attacks from laughing so hard. The show isn't as funny as it used to be, but still good.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."
