Gerard's ( G-Man's) Wake /Funeral

The wife and I made it to Gerard's Wake. It was nice to see how many people loved this guy. There were people from his work, sport bike riders, family, etc, etc. It was kind of hard to see a friend, especialy someone so young in a cakset.. its just unnatural....very sad. Met his wife, parents, sister, cousins also.
Rick was there ( HRB) He was strong, but we know the pain that he felt, he was probably Gerard's best friend. Gerards wife even wants Rick to ride Gerards bike in the funeral procession. Gerard's wife would like to have as many bikes that can make it to be at the funeral and in the procession, since Gerard's life revolved around his love for bikes. So if you can make it on Friday to show your respects, it would be very appreciated. There were even alot of pictures from when he was younger, all of them in one way or another, showing his love for bikes. The addy for the funeral home is:

235 N. Main St.
Wauconda IL
847-526-2115

RT 176 West of 294 into Wauconda....and turn right at Main St. ...the home is about 2 blocks on your left.

Time for the Funeral Procession is 10:30... 11:00 Church Mass

Peace Out... Ride safe

I'll be there with bike.

Greg's right, it was difficult to see all the pictures, especially the ones obviously taken in the last week (at least two). It was obvious he was loved by everybody.

He's had a hand in the weather this week, that's for sure.

Well, we all rode.

Ended up being Buzbyu, Ron, myself, Doc B, and one of Gerard's friend's from work on a Harley to the church. Rick lead the way with Gerard's sister (I think it was her) on back. At the church we got another guy on a 'busa in the mix. Gerard's wife took the back seat from the church to the cemetary. Rick turned on Gerard's favorite 'bling-bling' item, his strobes as we turned into the cemetary.

Very difficult to see it, but glad I was able to help the family and Rick. Gerard gave us some damn good weather to ride in..

It must have been hard. It's great that you were there to show your support and caring. Sorry I wasn't there.
