omfg, that's a nice car. Love the wheels. Who makes them? What kind of rubber is that?

man, i love the look of the rx-8. especially in black, but red is next favorite. too bad they don't make it with 3 rotors. at least offer a turbo since a rotary w/ turbo engine is such a perfect match.

Yeah, with a turbo you might be able to keep up with a WRX...

Seriously though, nice wheels. Are the stockers 17"'s? how much do the 18"s weigh each?

Thats not a bad price considering it comes with the fuel management mods, IC and manifold.

Hot rims too.

Mmmmkay... you had to go there...Umm.. unless you're a modified wrx (like Spongebob's), STi (like Kimf4i and Fabio) or any other FI car for that matter (Jeff's Eclipse, BuzzByU's Supercharged VW).. of course you'll pull faster against my NA .. as far as the stock wrx's... no prob
w/ only 5-7psi the turbo already adds 60-70hp at the wheels.. not the greatest.. but, up and coming... and this is only the beginning.

..my stocks were 18 as well. These are actually a few lbs lighter

Pretty bad ass. Are you going to show your car at HIN in the summer?

We all undertake a modicum of risk everytime we thumb the starter-it's just inherent to the sport.

I read the article about this car, it sounds amazing and I was almost certain it is going to be my next car (Subaru of America can suck my ass). But there are things about this car concerns me.
The 2.3L turbo engine looks like the tweaked current 2.3L engine that is in Mazda 3, a 9.5:1 ratio sounds great, but does not seem to be that tunable/upgradable.
The AWD system is FWD based.

damn it, I hate talking about cars, I am such a tool when it comes to JDM cars.
